When you hire us, you’re getting the whole team working on your case. The attorneys matter, but so do the people supporting them. It’s important for you to know everyone who will be working to help you with your case.

Douglas Goss

Founding Partner

My name is Douglas Goss, but you can call me Doug. I’ve lived in San Joaquin County my entire life. Before becoming a lawyer, I spent 16 years in law enforcement, first with the Stockton Police Department, and later as a Deputy Marshall.

After my wife and I were blessed with three sons, I decided to attend law school to become an attorney. I went to law school in the evenings while working full time to support my family, and passed the California State Bar exam in 1989.

My first job was defending lawsuits on behalf of insurance companies, but I quickly decided that I didn’t want to spend my life trying to prevent injured people from collecting their due.

I now use my inside information as a former law enforcement officer to help individuals accused of crimes and I use my experience as a former insurance defense attorney to help my clients when they get hurt. I enjoy helping the little guy and making a major positive impact in my clients’ lives.

When I’m not in the office, you can find me golfing, fishing, at church, enjoying time with my sons and their families.

Blair Goss

Office Manager

My name is Blair, and I’ve worked with my father for more than 10 years. I started as the receptionist way back when our office was in Lodi, but now I manage the office.

I attended UC Davis after spending two years at San Joaquin Delta College. I then went to law school at night while working, just like my dad. I’ve spent that time learning the ins and outs of the legal system from him.

During my time working as support staff prior to finishing law school and passing the bar exam I learned a lot about customer service. A lawyer’s job doesn’t end in court- a firm can get a great result for a client while still providing a terrible experience for the client, causing needless stress along the way.

My goal is to accomplish great results for our clients, and to also provide excellent client satisfaction as we do it.

When I’m not in the office, you can find me whipping up a storm in the kitchen. I like to think that I could open up my own successful restaurant when I retire, but my wife might beg to differ.
